Machine Applique the Pattern Poole Way
Choose your favourite Pattern Poole pattern (they're all super-cute, so this is the hardest part of the class!) and learn how easy it is to machine applique with fusible web. The applique shapes are beginner-friendly and each wall hanging is small (about 12" x 16"), so this is a manageable introduction to a fun technique.
Skill Level:
intermediate

Curved safety pins (SKU 351232);
Sharp fabric scissors;
Craft/paper scissors;
Masking tape;
Sharp pencil and gum eraser;
Applique pressing sheet (SKU 1100695) ;

Basic sewing kit: Seam ripper, thread snips, etc.
Before class:
Please trace your pattern pieces onto the gridded side of your Steam-a-Seam II Lite, using a pencil (ink doesn't work so well on the parchment). Leave about 1/2" space between pieces. Alternatively, you can print the pattern pieces onto the Value Pack sheets using an inkjet (not laser) printer. Please note: your pattern pieces are in reverse, so don't be alarmed if they don't look right.
