Binding Basics Supply List

Note: Kit will be provided at class time and is included in the price of class.

- a sewing machine in good working order with owner's manual (you are responsible for knowing how to operate your own machine - this includes such things as threading your machine, winding a bobbin and changing stitch lengths. A private lesson to learn how to operate your machine can be scheduled prior to your class, if necessary.)

-1/4" foot

- 50 wt thread such as Konfetti

- full bobbin

- new 90/14 topstitch needle

- Wonder Clips

- temporary marking tool of your choice

- short ruler (long is ok, but a shorter one is easier to work with)

- rotary cutter

- straight pins

Skill Details:

In order to be succesful in this class you must be familiar with your sewing machine, be able to change your stitch length, wind a bobbin and sew a straight line. Ideally you will have completed Quilting 1 for the Absolute Beginner or it's equivalent.
