Supply List
Fabric: 2 m muslin
Batting: (4) 20" x 20" pieces, your choice of 100% cotton (Warm & White), 70/30 cotton/polyester (Dream Blend), or 50/50 cotton/bamboo (Tender Touch). Do not use 100% polyester, as it is too slippery!
Sewing machine in good working condition, with all accessories, user manual, power cord, and foot control;
Extension table, if you have one;
LED light for your sewing machine, if you have one;
Free-motion/darning foot to fit your machine. Note: If you cannot drop your feed dogs, make sure you have a cover plate to fit your sewing machine;
Needles: Topstitch 90/14;
Thread: 50-wt 100% cotton (Konfetti or Tutti). Choose a colour to contrast with your muslin so you'll be able to see your stitches. Please wind at least one bobbin with your thread;
Frixion pen;
Quilting gloves;
Pencil for drawing on paper;
505 Temporary Spray Baste;
Basic sewing kit: Seam ripper, thread snips, etc.
Pre Class Prep Work
Prior to the first class, prepare four muslin spray-basted quilt sandwiches, approximately 20" x 20", ready for quilting.
