Fabric:
(8) fat or long quarters of assorted yellow prints
(4) 10" squares of assorted green prints
(4) fat or long quarters of assorted browns
(4) 0.9m of each background fabric in light blue, light gray, medium gray and white
(4) 5" squares in different fabrics for practicing

Instructor's note: Assorted browns were selected for the centres of the flowers for the sample instead of the greys indicate din the book. Use whichever you prefer.

- 45mm rotary cutter (MUST be 45mm)
- neutral thread (50wt Konfetti)
- Microtex 80/12 needle
- sewing machine with all accessories, manual, power cord and foot control
- 1/4" foot
- basic sewing kit: seam ripper, thread snips, pins, Frixion pen, etc.

Before class preparation:
1) Cut all fabric per General Cutting Instructions on page 45 of the book.
2) Place all cut fabric in labelled zip lock bags.

Bring all cut fabric as well as leftover fabric to the class.

Skill Details:

In order to be succesful with this project, students must be able to cut accurately and sew an accurate 1/4" seam. Ideally, students will have completed the equivalent to Quilting 2.
