For this class you need to be able to sew a straight line, change your stitch length, change your sewing machine foot and wind a bobbin. If you would like training on any of these skills, please call the store at 613-834-3044 to arrange a private lesson.

Requirements:

Modern Hexie Pillow Class Requirements Pattern: Hexie Pillow by Modern Handcraft 0.6 m cotton fabric (for pillow front and back) (41) 2.5" squares for hexies (bring extra or leftover fabric) 0.5m of fusible fleece Sewing machine in good working condition, with new needle (Topstitch size 90/14), all accessories and manual. Don't forget your power cord and foot control; (41) 1" Hexie papers Standard foot (Pfaff 0A, others zigzag); Fabric marking tool of your choice Rotary cutter or fabric Scissors Acorn Seam Align Glue Wonder Clips OR Water Soluble Fabric Glue Stick Konfetti (50-wt) thread for quilting; Hand sewing needles; Basic sewing notions: Thread snips, seam ripper, pins, scissors, etc.
