Circle Game
Circle Game
- Circle Game pattern booklet by Jen Kingwell (INCLUDED WITH CLASS FEE)
This is a hand-pieced, hand-quilted project done over a period of eight months in three-hour classes, from September to May.
Have you considered the benefits of making a quilt by hand? transportable, precise, meditative. Join us to accomplish this perhaps daunting endeavour in the company of like-minded individuals. The pattern allows for putting together 16 different blocks of varying complexity, thereby growing our skills. We will share ideas for fabric choices and placement, techniques in working with circles, project organization and one of many quilt-as-you-go methods. There will be homework involved in that specific blocks must be completed for the next class; this will provide the necessary momentum to complete the quilt in a timely manner. Note that you must have completed the Introduction to Hand-piecing class prior to jumping in the Circle Game.
DO NOT PURCHASE THE FABRIC PRIOR TO CLASS as fabric choices will be discussed in the first session.
