Before Class:
Pre-wash your fabric, if desired. Whether or not you pre-wash, please treat with Mary Ellen’s Best Press – at the end of your project, you will be working with bias edges and this treatment will stabilize your fabric;
Following the cutting instructions on page 2 of your pattern, cut at least 4 fabrics according to the plan given, plus a supply of background squares measuring 3” x 3” (refer to the top of page 4 in your pattern to see the requirements for each block). This will let you make a few blocks in class.
I will be demonstrating the Stripology ruler in class, so you might want to hold off cutting your entire project ahead of time.
