Emerson Crossbody Bag

Keep your belongings secure with zippered closures for the main compartment, as well as a convenient front pocket (great for your phone or passport)! Perfect for travel or adventure, but also day-to-day running around.

- quilted piece of fabric that is a minimum of 18” x 22” (try to avoid directional fabrics)
- 15” square piece of fabric for interior binding
-1.5m of 1” webbing for strap
-(1) 8” closed end zipper for outside of bag
-(1) 12" closed end zipper
-(1) 1” Slide Release Buckle
-(1) 1” Slide Adjuster
Scotch tape
Pins/wonderclips
100% cotton thread such as Konfetti to match fabrics chosen
Scissors
24" x 6” Ruler
Rotary cutter (preferably 45mm with new blade)
Zipper foot
¼” foot
new 90/14 topstitch needle
Machine in good working order including owner's manual.
Pre Class Preparation
Please prepare your 18" X 22" (minimum) piece of quilted fabric prior to class. You can use the batting of your choice. The backing of the quilt sandwich you make will be visible inside the bag.
Skill Details:
In order to be successful in this class it is expected that you know how know how the sew an accurate 1/4" seam, cut with a rotary cutter, change your stitch length and width, wind a bobbin and straight line or free motion quilt a piece of fabric prior to class.
