Looking for something unique to give a friend or holiday host this year?  Join Diane for a morning of sewing and make plate and bowl cozies to help keep everyone's meals and snacks warm as well as wine glass slippers to help identify everyone's beverages.  These projects require basic sewing skills, are fat quarter friendly and are a quick finish.

      


Supplies needed:

Bowl cozy
- two 9" squares of cotton fabric
- two 10" squares of 100% cotton batting 
- cotton thread such as Konfetti

Dinner plate cozy
- two 13" squares of cotton fabric
- cotton thread
- two 14" squares of 100% cotton batting 

Wine glass slipper
- three 5" squares of fabric A
- two 5" squares of fabric B

All three projects
- 6.5" X 24" ruler
- short ruler (2.5" X 6.5" or so)
- 505 glue stick
- Wonder clips
- Frixion pen
- Point turner
- rotary cutter
- fabric scissors
- paper scissors
- zig zag foot
- new 90/14 topstitch needle
- sewing machine in good working order with owner's manual
- narrow edge foot (optional)
- 1/4" foot with guide (optional)
- pinking shears (optional)

In order to be succesful with these projects it is expected that you be able to use a rotary cutter and ruler, sew a straight line and operate your own sewing machine.
