- Spider Web Ruler by Creative Grids

- 6.5" by 24.5" ruler

- fabric as indicated by pattern based on project size chosen

- sewing machine in good working order with owner's manual, power cord and foot pedal

- a new, sharp 80/12 Microtex needle for piecing

- a neutral 50 wt. thread, such on Konfetti by Wonderfil

- a full bobbin

- Mary Ellen's Best Press

- rotary cutter

Pre Class Prep work

1. from each of the 10 different fabrics for the spider webs (the octagons) cut the following one 8" by WOF strip if you are making the smaller size or two strips if you are making the larger size.

2.From the background fabric cut eight 6.5" by WOF strips for the smaller quilt or sixteen 6.5" by WOF strip is you are making the larger size.

Bring all fabric, cut or not cut, for the project to the class.
