Fabric

Bouquet: Two or three fat quarters of floral-themed fabric;


Background: 12” square;

Vase: 6” square;

Batting: 12” square;

Backing: 12” square;

Rod pockets: (2) 5" squares to be used on back;

Binding:  (2) 2.5” x wof strips of fabric, You may be able to get away with one strip, depending on the width of fabric.

Steam-A-Seam II Lite: 1 m

Additional Supplies

Sharp
fabric scissors (small is best, for easy maneuverability);

Awl;

Sharp
straight pin;


Appliqué pressing sheet;


Thread for quilting (Val likes to use Invisifil 100-wt polyester, but Efina 60-wt cotton would work, but will be more noticeable). I used white for the sample);

Konfetti 50-wt cotton thread for the bobbin;

Fons and Porter Binding Tool;


505 Fabric Glue stick;


Wonder Clips;


Needles: For Invisifil thread: Non-stick size 10 or Topstitch size 12 or Quilting size 12.
For Konfetti or Efina thread: Non-stick size 12 or Topstitch size 14 or Quilting size 14;

Acrylic ruler quilting ruler, at least 12-1/2" long;

Frixion pen;

Rotary cutter:


Quilting guide and walking foot if your machine has either.


Open-toe foot;


Bi-level topstitch foot (for Pfaff machines; optional but very helpful)

This is a true beginner project! The only skill required is the ability to thread your own machine,l make a bobbin and to sew a relatively straight line.
