Luminary Quilt Supply List and Pre Class Preparation
-Luminary quilt pattern by Alison Glass
Fabric selection - solid or tone on tone fabrics work best
-if using scraps you will need approximately one hundred, 10" strips 1"-2" wide please note, small scraps will not work - you need strips of fabric
OR
-precut 2.5" strips with at least 30 strips
OR
-at least forty, 10" precut squares
-1.75m of background fabric
-fabric scissors
-rotary cutter
-6.5" X 24.5" ruler
-marking tool of your choice
-pins
-Mary Ellen's Best Press
-sewing machine in good working order with owner's manual
-neutral thread for piecing
Pre Class Prep
- Please come with your fabrics pressed. If you are unsure of which fabrics to use bring some that
you would like incorporate and we can work on additional fabric selection during the first class.

| Skill Details: | In order to successfully complete this project, participants should be able to sew a consistently accurate 1/4" seam, use a rotary cutter and ruler to cut accurately and be comfortable working with biased seams. Ideally participants will have completed Quilting 2. |
