-sewing machine in good working order with owner's manual, foot pedal and power cord
-a neutral thread 50 wt thread to blend with your light-coloured poinsettias, a red-toned one to blend with your brighter poinsettias and a thread to blend with your background.
Pre Class Preparation
-Please bring your background fabric (1.5m of a non-directional dark-toned fabric) cut into four 8.5" X WOF strips.
-Bring 4 green fabrics (0.25m each of three medium-toned non-directional fabrics and 0.25m of one darker green fabric). Cut each of the three medium-toned fabrics into three 2.5" strips and cut the darkest green into four 1.5" strips. These cutting instructions can be found on page 3 of the pattern.
-We will discuss fabric selection for the flowers in the first class. Bring any fabrics you wish to incorporate into your project with you.

| Skill Details: | Students will be most successful in the class if they have completed Quilting 2 or are comfortable working with bias cuts and accurately piecing triangles. |
| Requirements: | Able to cut accurately, sew consistent 1/4" each seams when dealing with bias cut fabrics and triangles. |
