Big Reversible Bow

Big Reversible Bow
-The Big Giant Bow Quilted Bow pattern by Lindsay Grace
-sewing machine in good working order - please bring your power cord, foot pedal and owner's manual
-bring all feet you have including a walking foot, if you have one
-a new 90/14 Topstitch needle
-quilting pins, thread snips, stitch ripper
-rotary cutter OR fabric scissors
-6 1/2" X 24 1/2" ruler
-temporary marking tool of choice
-Mary Ellen's Best Press
-1m of fusible fleece OR batting. The Canada Day/Christmas store sample is made using fusible fleece, and the Fall/Halloween sample is using batting. Bring the one you prefer.
-50 wt thread for piecing, quilting and topstitching. This thread will show on both sides so it should co-ordinate with both fabrics used.
-0.5m of non-directional fabric for side 1 AND 0.5 of non-directional fabric for side 2. I suggest using similarly coloured fabrics to make thread and reversibility easier to address. For example, red for Christmas on one side and Canada Day on the other, orange for fall and Halloween, yellow for Easter and spring, etc.
PreClass Preparation
1) Cut your batting or fusible fleece into two pieces, both 20" X approximately 42"
2) Fuse or spray baste your batting/fusible fleece to the back of your pieces of fabric.
