Flamingo House Presents: Learn To Sew Workshop
Some FAQ about the day:
- Events are 'pay what you can' there is no set fee and everyone is welcome, including kids!
- Beginners welcome! A great place to learn everything from how to wind a bobbin to sewing a straight line. If you have a machine at home, we encourage you to bring it so we can familiarize you with your own machine (Don't forget your power cord!).
- Never sewn but want to learn? Materials will be provided for some quick beginner projects.
- Experienced sewers welcome! Share your knowledge with others, or just work on things in a community.
- Mending circle. Bring your mending pile, it has a better chance of getting done while spending time with others.
- Have a project that is puzzling you? bring it! We can brain storm together.
- No sign up needed, events are drop-in. RSVPs are appreciated as they help us plan but not required.
- Tools will be available to use but, if you wish to purchase anything, a 10% discount will apply.
