Ombre Geese

(See Supply List, below)

Supply List

Note on fabric selection:
1.    If you use a jelly roll or other 2.5" strip collection, each strip must be trimmed down to 2.25" before proceeding with the pattern;
2.    If you are using ombre fabrics, each width-of-fabric strip will make one complete "goose";
3.    If you are using regular fabrics, you will need three fabrics for each goose. Again, each width-of-fabric strip contributes to the equivalent of one goose, so three strips makes three complete geese in one combination of fabrics. If you want to add more to the mix, feel free;
4.    Component strips must be a minimum 12.5" usable fabric and you need two per goose. Keep this in mind if you're going for a scrappy look and/or using strips that measure less than width of fabric;
5.    We won't be making an entire quilt in class, so just bring a variety of strips to practice on.
