Class Requirements:
-Birch Bark Pattern
-a minimum of forty 2.5" X width of fabric strips (you can use precuts or cut your own strips from yardage prior to the first class)
-0.25m of contrasting accent fabric
-a sewing machine in good working order
-1/4" foot
-neutral 50wt thread such as Konfetti for piecing
- a new 80/12 Microtex needle
-24" X 6.5" acrylic ruler
-rotary cutter
-thread snips
-fabric marking pen or pencil such as a Frixion pen
-long pins
Pre-Class Preparation
Please complete steps 1, 2 and 3 of the pattern (illustrated on pages 1 and 2). This will allow us to complete the quilt top during the class time.

Participant should be able to thread their machine, wind a bobbin, sew a relatively consistent 1/4" seam and use a rotary cutter for cutting fabric.
