Supply List - Icons on the Landscape

PLEASE NOTE: Once you have chosen which pattern you want to use, a pattern specific supply list will be available from Quilty Pleasures. Please let us know which pattern you have decided to work on prior to class.

Specific Supplies
-free motion foot
-walking foot (if not built-in to your machine)
-couching foot or open toed foot
-self-threading needles
-sharp scissors for cutting applique pieces
-SewSlip mat (optional)
-free motion gloves
-alcohol swabs
-free standing thread stand
-microtex sewing machine needles - in sizes 80 & 90

General Supplies
- Rulers - 8½′′or 6½′′x 24′′ruler, 8½′′or 6½′′x 12′′ruler if you have one
- Rotary cutter
- Scissors for fabric and paper
- Pencil
- Thread:

• Neutral coloured thread such as grey or beige for piecing - 50 wt cotton
• Bobbin thread for quilting - 50 wt cotton - use threads to match the stitching and quilting threads that way they will not show through to the front

- Sewing Machine in good working order with manual, quarter inch foot, power cord and foot pedal
- Straight pins
- seam ripper
- masking tape - green painters tape is best
- Sharpie pen & paper for notes
